Well readers here is the saga from my most recent all night stand:
a - pedestrian versus car
b - multiple stab wounds including zone 1 neck exploration
c - single driver roll over
d- fall with cervical fracture
e- lower GI bleed
f- incarcerated incisional hernia
g - head - on with dislocated elbow
h- unbelted passenger, pneumothorax
i - GSW to chest.
Spent most of the time in the OR and ER.
Lots of unit patients now.
Good experience for the residents.
